Coupé de ville (Bagatelle 1995)

Looking at luxury formal coachwork like this coupé de ville, it's difficult to imagine the C1 in competition. Yet they were indeed entered in hillclimbs, economy runs and local speed events, both by the factory and by private owners. Fitted with lightweight bodies, they proved highly successful in this guise during the early vintage years.
